Baby Phat Denim on Denim Early ’00s Baddie Outfit Inspo

Baby Phat is back y’all! As a 90’s baby, I remember when Kimora Lee Simmons (aka the mogul, model, and overall baddie blueprint) launched the line. Also, who could forget the iconic looks and moments from the Baby Phat fashion shows. So when they reached out to me for a TikTok collaboration, I was super excited. I love a good early 2000s baddie-inspired outfit, and you know what all the baddies were wearing back in the day? Baby Phat. Here’s how I styled this denim-on-denim outfit for a fly, elevated casual look.

I’m wearing this denim-studded halter top, and the matching denim capris (not studded, so they’re super versatile) in a size small. I’m usually a US size 4. The capris are a little snug, but of course they have that signature stretch that Baby Phat is known for. Both pieces also have the signature Baby Phat cat and come in multiple colors.

To elevate the look, I styled it with a gold oversized quilted bag. This purse is one of my top recent Fashion Nova purchases. It gives luxe designer bag vibes for a fraction of the price. To finish off the look (and accentuate the studs on my halter top), I added gold shades and my favorite gold platform sandals.
