Wanna do Your Nails at home?
Then you’re in the right place, sis. I like to do my nails at home to save money on my maintenance routine. There are a few options. You can:
1) Make Press On Nails Using Gel Polish
Then glue them on with regular nail glue. This is what I do to get the look of gel nails without putting my hands under a nail lamp.
You should try this if: If you don’t want to put your hands under a nail lamp, want to make custom nails, or don’t want to apply gel polish to your natural nails.
2) Do Gel-X Nails at Home
This means that you’ll apply the nail tips using gel glue, which needs to be cured.
You should try this if: You want to use gel nail glue, and are willing to go through the prep and removal process.
3) Use Performance Polish
This means using regular nail polish (that doesn’t need to be cured) to get the gel polish look and durability, without using gel polish.
You should try this if: You want to use regular nail polish that doesn’t need to be cured, but you want something that lasts longer than regular polish.
