I recently went to the Club 1BD (Bedroom) Sunset Theme R&B party in Boston. The dress code was yellow and orange outfits. Y’all know I love a theme, and I wanted to find a look that gave early 2000’s baddie. Overall, it was one of THE BEST parties I’ve ever been to in Boston. The DJs were on point, the vibes were immaculate, and people really came to dance. I’m usually not on the dance floor like that. However, if you saw my Instagram stories that night, you know I danced so hard I sweat out my leave-out. The makeup was still locked in place, though. Anyways, here’s what I wore to the Club 1BD Sunset Theme Party!
Orange Going Out Outfit Details

I picked up this orange tube top that says “California” from Urban Planet. They’re owned by Charlotte Russe, so they have a lot of the same pieces and price points. I’m wearing the top in a size medium (since it was the last size left lol, but it worked). I was able to find a similar version online on Charlotte Russe for y’all.
In keeping with the theme, I knew I wanted to wear an orange skort I previously bought from SheIn. It was super cute when I wore it to another day party last year (see below). However, for some reason, it was nowhere to be found. So I ordered a similar orange tennis skirt from Amazon (size small, and true to size). This was perfect because I literally danced the night away, and the skort allowed me to move freely.

Speaking of dancing the night away, I once again wore my trusty gold wedges from SheIn. These are my go-to for my summer going-out outfits when I know I’m going to be dancing or standing for a while. They fit true to size, and they hold up well. I’ve had mine for two years now.

To finish off my look for Club 1BD, I went with gold jewelry and a clear purse because the venue had a bag policy. Since I knew I didn’t want to carry a smaller bag, I opted for this clear purse from Fashion Nova. It’s also going to be a great stadium bag for my future concert outfits. I love this one because it has an elevated shape, and isn’t just a regular clear shoulder bag. Here’s a similar version of the clear bag here on Amazon.
Quick Makeup Details

For foundation, I wore my go-to foundation this summer: MAC Studio Fix Fluid with SPF 15 in Shade NW47. To create this eyeshadow look I used the P. Louise Creative Comeback Eyeshadow Palette in my crease. On my lid, I used the Danessa Myricks Infinite Chrome Flakes in Monarch. For my orange body highlight I used “Fearless” from the Danessa Myricks Lightwork V Palette. I’ve been obsessed with it since I saw Painted by Esther use it at her Masterclass at The Makeup Show NY.
Everything I Used to Do My Makeup
Here’s the rest of the products I used to create this makeup look.
Don’t Forget The Body Glowww!
On the rest of my body, I used a combo of the Vaseline Glazed and Glisten Golden Hour Body Gel Oil, and Eva NYC Kween Gold Hair & Body Glitter Spray.
