Culture Con Day One Outfit: Fur Trim Skirt Suit
Girllll, I had a time at Culture Con! One of the things I was most excited about was putting together a cute outfit. Culture Con posted a style guide, but I planned to go with looks that felt most like me. However, I’d say my Culture Con outfit for day one leaned most into “The Gallerist” from their style guide. Modern suiting, but make it fly, fierce, and fabulous. Here’s what I wore for day one of Culture Con in New York!
Faux Fur Trim Skirt Suit

For day one, I wore this faux fur-trimmed skirt suit from Fashion Nova. I got the set in a size small, and while it was a bit snug on my shoulders, it fit. It was a bit warm on day one, but this suit felt like the ideal look. I like that the fur collar and sleeves are detachable so that I can switch up the look a few different days.
I wore this Reoria brown double V-neck tank from Amazon underneath the blazer. It worked perfectly, as you couldn’t really see it under the blazer, which is what I wanted. However, if I wanted to open the blazer, it would have looked good too.
Brown Platform Boots
Knowing I’d be walking around a LOT at Culture Con, I knew I wanted to wear shoes I could last in. Also, I wanted heels, not sneakers; I was looking for some type of platform. I wound up getting these brown platform boots from Amazon, and they fit true to size. I ain’t gon hold you; I didn’t have time to break them in before Culture Con, so my feet did hurt, but I did an excessive amount of walking around and standing in them. For a regular night out, I would have been perfectly fine.

The Clear Bag That Can Actually Fit ALLLL Your Stuff Inside
To meet the bag policy I’d read about on the Culture Con website, I grabbed this clear tote for under $10 on Amazon. It fit all my essentials AND my filming equipment (Xtra Muse Vlog Camera, Canon G7X Mark III, etc.) too. While the bag is clear, you can get it with different color trim. I’m wearing the version with black trim.
Were you at Culture Con this year? What did you wear? Let me know in the comments below!
Stylishly Yours,
