I love combining my DIY projects to make something extra festive. I made another custom newspaper for my recent graduation photoshoot (see my tutorial below), and I decided to re-purpose it by making a newspaper flower bouquet for my graduation ceremony. To make this newspaper bouquet, I wrapped the custom newspaper I printed around a flower bouquet I made previously.

Making the custom newspaper is fairly simple, and I had it printed (same-day) at Staples for about $17. Check out this blog post for the link to the Canva template I used, and written instructions for printing.
How To Wrap a Flower Bouquet
One of the beautiful things about fake flowers is you’ll have them forEVAAA lol. Also, they don’t trigger my pollen allergies. I still had the faux flower bouquet I made for Valentine’s Day this year, so I used those because in this house we get our money’s worth. Similar pink faux roses from Michael’s Craft Store are linked below. The pink and gold floral wrapping paper I got from Amazon held up well, so I just reused that.

The bouquet I previously used was really full (I used four bunches of flowers). So I took out half of them and wrapped the newspaper around the flower wrapping paper. It was really easy, check out my TikTok above to see how it looked up close. I used two pieces of tape to hold the newspaper in place and switched to a hot pink ribbon I got from Dollar Tree. I’ve a similar option from Michael’s Craft Store below.
