The Toenail Tips I Used
This set of sharp square toenails by Novo Ovo comes with 15 different sizes (5 just for the big toe!) so you’re sure to find sizes that work for you. Since it comes with 240 nails, you get enough to do 16 pedicures. What a deal!
I have longer toenail beds, and Novo Ovo’s sharp square toenails (like their french tip and ombre version) always work well for me.
How I Did The Gold French Tip Pedicure
As the toenail tips come plain, you need to start by applying and curing a base coat. I used a beige shade from this set of skintone gel polishes by Beetles as the base of my french tip nails. After applying two coats, I painted a french tip on the nails using black gel polish. Once cured, I applied no wipe topcoat only over the french tip design (curing for only 30 seconds) and used gold chrome nail powder on top.
Gold Chrome & Rhinestone Toenail Details
For my rhinestone nails, I started off by using gold chrome powder over two coats of black gel polish. Then I decided to try using builder gel to adhere the rhinestones to my toenail, and it worked really well!
Gold Cat Eye Gel & Unicorn Chrome Nail
For my gold cat eye gel nails, I used this gold glitter cat eye polish by GAOY (2 coats). I used their 3-N-1 Cat Eye Gel Magnet to make it shine. Then I applied top coat, cured for 30 seconds, and went over it with this orange unicorn chrome nail powder from Amazon.
Once I finished, I used builder gel and top coat on all the nails to strengthen them and protect the design.
How I Applied The Press On Toenails
To apply the press on toenails I used toenail nail adhesive tabs and my favorite nail glue from Sally Beauty. I used the adhesive tabs to help protect my nailbeds, as sometimes I’m a little too rough when removing the nails. I also find that the tabs help me avoid the nails lifting prematurely, leading to water getting underneath, green spots, etc.
