Novo Ovo gifted me a set of their new ombré press on toenails to review for y’all. All thoughts are opinions are my own. I’ve wanted a cute ombré pedicure for a hot minute, but the current budget is giving press ons lol. So I was really excited to see that Novo Ovo dropped ombré press on toenails (Retail, $25) on Amazon. They are the same shape and length as their sharp square french tip press ons that I recently tried. If you saw my video on those nails, then you know I was impressed by how well the length worked for me (I have longer nail beds, so it can challenging for me to find press on toenails that are long enough). Novo Ovo Sharp Square Ombré Press On Toenails
Novo Ovo dropped these press-on toenails in three shades: baby pink (the shade I’m wearing), berry pink, and brown pink. I decided to try the baby pink shade this time, since I tried the brown pink in their french tip toenails.
The nails are pretty long, so I filed them down to the length that I felt most comfortable with.
How To Apply Them
The nails are easy to prep and work with. After wiping them down with rubbing alcohol, I applied a coat of builder gel, and a coat of top coat. I used the gel polish set by BTArtBox and cured each coat for 60 seconds under my nail lamp. Since I don’t like to put my hands and feet under UV nail lamps, I applied the nails using my fave nail glue from Sally Beauty.
