Outside Was Hot, but My Day Party Outfit Was Hotter

One of my favorite things about summertime is going to outdoor festivals and concerts and enjoying the weather. I recently attended an Afrobeats & Amapiano day party, and I wore this outfit from SHEIN. It was a hit chile, and it was super affordable. My entire outfit was roughly $43, minus my tiger print Marc Jacobs tote (which I scored years ago on sale at Neiman’s. Details on that are in this blog post).

My entire outfit (minus the bag lol) is from SHEIN. I’d been eyeing this flirty orange skort for a hot minute, and decided to grab it to style with some summer outfits. While it’s a lil short (and thankfully a skort LOL), it is true to size. I’m wearing it in a size 4. I styled it with this oversized tiger graphic t, that I tied up in the back with a hair tie. I’m also wearing it in a size 4.

The tiger graphic on my shirt helps tie in my Year of the Tiger Marc Jacobs bag. I switched out the black fur purse strap it came with for a gold chain strap from Etsy. I tied an orange animal print motif scarf in my hair like a headband, and wore strappy wedges also from SHEIN. The wedges are true to size and were comfortable to stand around in and dance in. I highly recommend platform heels or wedges if you’re looking for comfortable going out heels this summer.

Why Does This Outfit Work?

Sticking to the same color palette (especially the similar shades of bright orange) and tiger print motif helps easily tie this look together. The gold accents and jewelry help accent the warm tones in this outfit too.
