Girl, they done got me. I picked up a Labubu on a recent trip to New York (though I’m pretty sure they sold me a Lafufu), and decided to customize it before I started rocking it as a purse charm. I knew I wanted my custom labubu to have lashes and nails, so I got to work. Since I’m a DIY nail girlie, I was able to use my nail rhinestones, nail stickers, etc. for this project.

What I Used for my Custom Labubu:
Rhinestone Teeth, Nose, and Ears
E6000 glue is the MVP of this project. I used it to glue on all the rhinestones and the lashes on my Labubu. I used the clear ab rhinestones and colorful ab rhinestones that I use to make my nail sets. For the ears, I also used pink heart rhinestones from Hobby Lobby. I tagged a similar set from Amazon above.
Star Eyes and Lashes
To give my Labubu a starry-eyed effect, I stuck these white star nail stickers on it’s eyes. Since they’re nail stickers, no glue was needed. For the lashes, I used some lash extension wisps and glued them on with E6000 glue.
Labubu Nails: French Tip Nails or Bust
I also made mini french tip nails for my Labubu. This took the longest, but they came out so cute. I used straight tip toenail clippers (very important, the curved ones kept messing up the shape I was going for lol) to cut down some of my plain long square skintone BTArtBox nails.
Then I painted a french tip on them with white gel polish, and went over them with builder gel and top coat just like when I do my own nails. I glued the nails on my Labubu with more E6000 glue.
Labubu Outfit Details
I got my Labubu’s outfit from a kiosk in the mall in New York. However, you can find similar cute outfits on TikTok shop. For the necklace, I put this rhinestone bracelet from SHEIN on my Labubu.
