So what had happened was, I went to Target to occupy myself while my car was getting fixed. I figured I’d pick up a couple of things, and look around. Somehow I wound up getting a bunch of stuff from their new Animal Print Faux Fur Collection. On top of some new Oatmilk Lattes (lactose and dairy-free! My tummy is rejoicing), a deep waver for my hair, and my favorite apple cider vinegar vitamins.
The thing about me getting so inspired in Target’s home section, is that I’m now sitting here looking at paint swatches. Because with my fabulous new faux fur home decor, my bedroom needs a paint job, no? It’s giving very much “If you give a mouse a cookie.”
Anyways, when I posted my Target home mini haul on my Instagram stories I got a lot of questions. Especially about my weighted blanket. I figured I’d round everything up here, along with the things I might go back for.
Target Bedroom Home Decor
The first thing that caught my eye, was fabulous tan faux fur pillow. It looked super luxe, and I know I wouldn’t be able to find anything similar for that price. I bought two of these.
Next, I spotted this animal print faux fur bed scarf, which reminded me of the bedroom home decor pics I’ve been saving on Pinterest. It matches the natural/golden tones of the other fur pillow, so I was sold. It’s also really great quality, so it’s not a cheap-looking faux fur.
Target also has some faux fur pillows that match the animal print bed scarf. Not sure if I want to get these as well, but I love that it’s a cute and well thought out set!
There is also a bedding set, that matches the animal print faux fur. It’s reversible, so you have the animal print on one side and then tan fur on the other. Online the set looks like it’s grey on the other side, but it’s definitely more tan.
The only thing that stopped me from scooping that set up, was that they didn’t have the side I needed. Also, there were two other faux fur sets that I was torn between…so I have some decisions to make haha.
Chile, This Got Me The Best Sleep Ever
On a whim, I also purchased a weighted blanket, because I’ve heard so many good things about them. It comes in a cover, so you can remove the cover and wash it. I of course purchased one in a color that coordinates with the other stuff I bought. I got one that weighs 15 pounds, but there are other weight options as well.
Sis, when I tell you I got the most well-rested sleep I’ve had in a minute. I woke up feeling like my mama done forgot to wake me up on time for school. I’m a grown woman with college degrees ROFL.
