Baby, these green jeans from Good American are a statement piece. This bright saturated green color (Bottega green?) is a huge trend this summer. I also like the tie-dye design on these jeans, which makes them feel extra fun and cool.
I first tried Good American’s jeans when they dropped a collab with Zara, and I was very impressed. Impressed enough to pick these up from the Good American website, and see what they’re giving. I will say that these jeans are also true to size, as I got a 6 in these 90’s relaxed jeans (the same size I purchased in all the jeans from the Zara collab). They’re also tall girl friendly.
Making a Monochromatic Green Outfit Work
When I saw these green jeans, I knew I wanted to go for a look that was monochromatic. Monochromatic outfits are a really easy way to elevate your look, and choosing basic pieces in the same color helps dress up these jeans.
I picked up a matching V-Neck bodysuit from Zara for about $25, and as you can see it’s a spot on match. I styled it with a green bag in a similar shade (also from Zara, picked out by my goddaughter. Hey pud!) and some gold heels. I can’t find the bag online anymore, but here is a designer inspired option.

Is Bottega Green still in?
Long story short: yes. This super saturated green is a huge trend this summer, and it’s very similar to the super popular ”Bottega Green.” I love incorporating bold and bright colors into my summer wardrobe, and Bottega Green is a super flattering color for black girls.
In the fall I think I’ll pick up a green tweed blazer from Zara, and style it that way.
What do you guys think of these green jeans from Good American? How would you style them? Let me know in the comments!
