When I got this dress from Zara I thought it was cute, but it felt like it was missing something. I decided to wear it backwards, because tbh the back looks more interesting. I also added feather trim (similar to my DIY feather trim shorts). In the end the dress came out super cute, and I decided to wear it for the first day of NYFW. Check out my TikTok tutorial below!
What I Used
This DIY is super easy, all I used was E6000 glue (which you can get from places like Amazon, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, etc.) and 4 yards of grey 3-ply ostrich feather trim.
DIY Denim Dress with Feather Trim Tutorial
@flyfiercefab I got this denim dress from Zara, but I felt like it was missing something π€. I did a quick DIY by adding some feather trim & wore it to NYFW ππ½β¨ @Theresa Seyi | Outfit Ideas #diyfashion #fashion #zara #blackgirltiktok #outfitideas #blackgirlluxury #amazonfinds #2023fallfashion β¬ Bongos (feat. As I showed in my TikTok tutorial above, the key here was to do two rows of the feather trim. This makes the feathers look fuller, which gives the dress a more “finished” look. From start to finish I would say this DIY takes about 20-30 minutes.
