NYFW Diaries: Front Row At The Fashion Bomb Daily Show

What I Wore Front Row at NYFW Fly Fierce Fab

I attended the Fashion Bomb Daily Fashion Show again this year (check out my post on last years show), and I love that they prioritize spotlighting emerging designers of color. I had a VIP ticket which was to include perks like a front row seat for the show, in addition to entrance to the cocktail hour. Chile, everybody was there from the Real Housewives to Jackie Aina and Lil Mama. The show is the brainchild of the fabulous Claire Sulmers, and it was hosted by Nene Leakes.

What I Wore to the Fashion Bomb Daily 2023 NYFW Show

The dress code for the Fashion Bomb Daily is always fly, fierce, and fabulous. So I wanted to wear something that felt fabulous, with a sexy street-style edge. My friends at Pretty Little Thing gifted me this gold sequin mini dress that’s backless with a deep v-neck. I styled it with a camo jacket (this one is old from Zara, I linked a similar one here), gold heels, and my Louis Vuitton bandeau and toiletry bag. I finished the look with these gold platform heels from Amazon.

Why This Look Works

I like to juxtapose edgier / rougher elements like camoflauge print with more glam pieces to bring a lil flavor to my looks. The mini dress on it’s own is very sexy, and gives freakum dress. I wanted to style it in a way that gave mean an urban street style edge. Sexy, but a little tough.

Designers like: Jolie Duzon, CBN Chicago, The Fur and Leather Centre, Fayah Atheltics, Delisa Rose Luxury Lingerie, Tashee Inc, graduates of the Misa Hylton Fashion Academy, Don Morphy, Allison Elizabeth Brown, and Bruce Glen.
