I’ve been dreaming of a cute set of gold french tip nails, so I made this luxe press-on nail set. This required me to freehand the french tip myself but it was fairly easy. I got everything I used to make this set on Amazon! Check out my tutorial below to see how I made this nail set.
Nails & Gold Glitter French Tip
I started with plain nude short square X-Coat Tips by BTArtBox. To prep them, I wiped them with rubbing alcohol on a lint-free nail wipe. I painted on a french tip using gold glitter gel polish, and a thin nail art brush. I did two coats of the polish and cured each coat for 2-3 mins (according to the directions on the polish) under my nail lamp.
Rhinestones & Pearls
I wanted my press-on nails to feel luxe, so I trimmed the gold french tip nails with gold rhinestones and tan pearls. I applied them using the Markartt Rhinestone Glue, which I cured for 60 seconds under my nail lamp.
Builder Gel & Top Coat
To finish up my nails I did one coat of builder gel, and one coat of top coat by BTArtBox. After each coat I cured my nails for 60 seconds under my nail lamp.
Nail Glue
After I make my press-on nail sets, I glue them on using my all-time favorite nail glue from Sally Beauty. Essentially, I make a set of press-on nails using gel polish and then glue them on.
