Target Finds: How to Style This Must-Have Brown Long Denim Skirt

I’m usually not a long denim skirt AT ALL, but when I saw this brown long denim skirt by Wild Fable at Target (Retail $28), everything changed lol. This skirt is super stretchy and true to size, for reference, I’m wearing it in a size four. Btw this skirt comes in three different colors and will be so easy to style with fall outfits this season. Since the skirt is a rich brown, I decided to do something colorful and playful with the rest of my outfit. I got this colorful polka dot designer-inspired set for $10 on Ali Express last year. I decided to wear the top with the brown denim skirt. Check out this post to see what the set looks like on.

To finish off the look, I wore my favorite gold aviator shades from Amazon and chocolate brown patent thigh-high boots. I got my boots from Steve Madden a few years ago, but this pair and this pair on Amazon are similar. Lastly, I brought out my old Coach X J. Lo Collection top handle bag.

Why This Look Works

I like the juxtaposition of the print on my top and purse, and they’re able to work together for two reasons. 1) I stuck with a warm tone neutral color palette, which makes everything cohesive. 2) Because the denim skirt and thigh-high boots are plain (and similar shades), they help to ground the look.
