Cinderella Dress: My Birthday Photoshoot Outfit

For my birthday this year, I did a photoshoot inspired by Cinderella. Specifically, Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella starring Brandy. This is my favorite version of the Cinderella movie, and in this next chapter of my life, I’m trusting God for impossible things. So for this photoshoot, I needed to find the perfect dress that made me feel just like Cinderella. Would you believe I got my dress on Amazon?!

Cinderella Dress Details

For my birthday photoshoot, I wore a blue strapless sequin gown from Amazon. I got it in a size 4, and found it to run big in the chest area. However, the rest of the dress was true to size. I would have liked for it to be a little bit longer as I’m 5’9″, however, I made it work lol. This gown would also be a great wedding guest outfit for a black-tie wedding.

I styled the sequin gown with a matching blue fur coat, which I got years ago from H&M. For shoes, I went with my rhinestone Steve Madden pumps. To finish off the look I wore silver jewelry and a tiara I bought from an Instagram boutique back in the day.
