Look for some spring / summer nail inspo? This butterfly charm press on nail set may be one of my favorites that I’ve made. I used colors like pastel pink, butter yellow, and the prettiest gold glitter cat eye gel polish. Check out my tutorial below to see how I did my nails step by step!
The Nails that I Used
I made this set using Novo Ovo Extra Thick Medium Coffin Nails. Their extra thick nails are my go-to because they stay on for 2-3 weeks without extra prep work.
Base Gel: Setting Myself up For Success
Since I’m working with plain clear nails, I started off by applying one coat of Beetles base gel and curing it under my nail lamp.
Gel Polishes: Pink, Butter Yellow & Gold Cat Eye
For this set I mainly used: Sugared Rose from the DND Gel Diva Collection, I Shine U Shine by DND Gel (a cute butter yellow shade), and the prettiest gold cat eye gel polish by GAOY. I used a shade from Beetles set of six skintone shade gel polishes for the base of my french tip nails.
Cat Eye Designs Must Have: 5-N-1 Cat Eye Gel Magnet
I’m still learning how to work with cat eye gel polishes, but this 5-N-1 Cat Eye Gel Magnet by GAOY made it super easy to achieve designs in minutes. I used the flower magnet in the center to add flowers on the nails where I used the cat eye polish.

Rhinestones & Butterfly Nail Charms
To add some sparkle to my nails, I used some yellow and pink rhinestones and pearls from this set on Amazon. I also used some tan pearls, and these gold butterfly charms. I applied them all using this rhinestone glue by Makartt.
Builder Gel & Top Coat
To finish up my nails I applied one coat of Builder Gel and one coat of Top Coat by BTArtBox. I cured each coat for 60 seconds under my nail lamp.
My Favorite Nail Glue
I applied the nails using my favorite nail glue, which is Beauty Secrets Drip and Clog Proof Nail Glue from Sally Beauty.
