It’s one of the most wonderful times of the year. The Sephora 2020 Holiday Sale has officially started today for its beauty insiders with Rouge status. So you know what that means, it’s time to check that wishlist you were starting for Santa and treat ‘yo self!
How The Sephora Sale Works
The Sephora Beauty Insider Savings Event (that’s code for: Sephora Sale), is a favorite for beauty lovers everywhere. Becoming a Sephora Beauty Insider is free and easy, and gets you access to their events and sales. Your membership tier is determined by how much you spend at Sephora in a Calendar year. This is how the holiday sale is rolling out:
Rouge Beauty Insiders: Will receive 20% off all of their purchases online and in-store between now and 11/9/20.
VIB Beauty Insiders: Will receive 15% off all of their purchases online and ins-store between 11/3/20 and 11/9/20
Beauty Insiders: Will receive 10% off of all their purchases online and in-store between 11/5/20 and 11/9/20
According to their marketing materials, the Sephora Sale Holiday Code for all tiers to use online is: HOLIDAYFUN. The discount is good for unlimited purchases for the duration of the event.

The sale is also a great time to try out a new product you’ve been curious about. Been wondering if that new concealer will hide those designer bags under your eyes? Is that new skincare serum really worth the coin? The time to find out is during the sale when you can save yourself a little money (to do what? More shopping)!
I’ve really been wanting to try a Pat McGrath eye shadow palette, so I might just have to pick one up during the sale.
But, did you see the holiday gift sets?
I love the holidays, specifically Christmas, and there’s nothing that I love more than a good holiday gift set. Sephora always has some great ones every year, I’ve been eyeing a couple from Fenty Beauty.
A fan favorite is their Sephora Favorites perfume sampler gift set. Basically, they usually retail for about $68 (I did also see one for $75) and in the gift set, you get sample sizes of a curated set of perfumes. Depending on what you pick, you could get to try anything from YSL Black Opium to Dolce & Gabbana’s Dolce Shine. Inside the set, you also get a certificate to come back and redeem for a full-sized version of one of the fragrances that you sampled in the set (typically the 1.7oz size) which is a great deal. Sometimes that actually winds up being cheaper than purchasing the full size.
If the larger sample set is out of your price range, they also have an option with mini fragrances for $25 that allow you to redeem for a travel size version of the scent.
They also have other Sephora Favorites sets that allow you to get mini sizes of a few makeup products, but you don’t also get anything to redeem for full size.
So there you have it, everything that you need to know about the Sephora Sale, and a few of my recommendations.
