The SKIMS X Fendi tights in Black were at the top of my wishlist from Drop 1 of their collaboration. They were also the only thing I could get my hands on LOL. Thakfully all the bodysuits and underwear will be returning tomorrow (12/10 at 12 PM EST), so I can try to get the nude long sleeve bodysuit again.
How The SKIMS X Fendi Tights Fit
The tights were $115, and unfortunately, they won’t be restocked for Drop 2. I got them in Black, as I felt that they’d be the most versatile option. With bold pattern tights , sticking to a classic color like black helps to ground them. I bought the tights in a size Medium, even though based on the size chart I could have fit a Small. I felt like the Medium was best for me, as I’m pretty tall and didn’t want to risk ripping the tights. They fit really well, and I’m glad I got this size.
Outfit Details
I’m wearing the tights with this pink and black contrast blazer from Zara (check out this $46 SHEIN dupe here), white collared shirt, black leather shorts, and a black beret (similar beret and shorts tagged below). I finished the look with a classic black bag and patent heels. All together it gives a look reminiscent of our favorite 90’s TV bougie black girls like Whitley and Hilary. This outfit is a great example of how to pull together staple pieces from your capsule wardrobe, and create a fun look.
More Outfit Ideas
I feel like paring the SKIMS X Fendi tights with otherwise classic (or basic pieces) is an easy outfit combo. I’d also wear them with a little black dress, black sweater dress, or a chunky sweater and black leather shorts. A v-neck bodysuit and black leather miniskirt would be a fire outfit combo as well.
As the tights are black, you could also pair them with bold color minidresses, and style them like you would a plan black tight. I think the key will be to make sure they’re not heavily competing with other patterns.
