What To Get from the 2024 Sephora Holiday Savings Event

It’s almost one of the most wonderful times of the year: the Sephora Holiday Savings Event. This is the time to save some coins restocking your favorite makeup and beauty products or pick up some new things to try this holiday season. Here’s how the sale works:

Sephora Holiday Savings Event Details

The Sephora Holiday Savings Event is geared towards their Beauty Insider members (which is Sephora’s FREE rewards program). New members become members in the “Beauty Insiders” tier when they join. You can use the discount online and in-store as many times as you’d like during your tier-level access to the sale. The sale starts on different days for members at different tiers, as follows:

Rouge Members 20% Off All Purchases Online & In-Stores from November 1st-11th.
VIB Members 15% Off All Purchases Online & In-Stores from November 5th-11th.
Beauty Insiders 10% Off All Purchases Online & In-Stores from November 5th-11th.
All Members get 30% off Sephora Collection Items from November 1st-11th.

What’s In My Cart

During the sale, I plan to restock on some of my tried and true favorites. Like the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Waterproof Setting Spray, which I use to get rid of the powdery look . Also, I need a new Anastasia Beverly Hills brow pencil (in Dark Brown), and more of my fave Too Faced concealer. I also hit pan on my favorite Rare Beauty highlighter in “Flaunt.”

I will be treating myself to the Tarte Cosmetics “The Golden Era” holiday eyeshadow palette set too. It comes with 3 full-sized eyeshadow palettes. I swatched it when I was in the store recently, and the shimmers are so vibrant and pretty.

Holiday Gift Sets

There are a lot of great holiday gift sets out right now at Sephora, which of course are included in the sale. The Sephora Favorites perfume gift sets are always a great idea, as they come with samples of various fragrances, and a gift certificate good for a full-sized version (or travel-sized version, depending on which gift set you get) of one of the samples. They have these fragrance gift sets available at various price points.

I’m a big fan of the Anastasia Beverly Hills sparkle lip glosses, so I’m excited to see two shades that I love included in a gift set for $25. Same with the $25 Milk Hydrogrip Primer holiday set, as this primer has been a staple in my makeup routine since it was released years ago. Patrick Ta also has a Barbie gift set featuring a gloss and blush, which is limited edition and available online only.

My Favorite Foundations

I have oily skin, and I’m a full-glam kind of girl. With that in mind, here are some of my fave foundations (including pictures of me wearing them):

NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation

. My all-time favorite foundation is the NARS Soft Matte Complete Foundation, which I wear in the shade Marquises. It’s super long-wearing, looks flawless in person and in pictures, and has a matte finish (so if you have dry skin, I don’t recommend this). I like to mix it with the Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Weightless Foundation (Shade Deep 29) when I want a more satin and filtered finish.

For days when I want something fast that’s more medium coverage, I love using the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm. It’s a creme-to-powder product that performs amazingly well on my oily skin (check out my full review here). I wear it in the shade 8.5.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

In the summertime, the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is my go-to (Shade 5N2 Amber Honey). Mainly because they have one of the best shade matches for my summer tan, with the neutral undertone that I need. This foundation holds up well in the summer heat, and gives great coverage.

Sweet Perfumes

I love gourmand perfumes, as I love to smell SWEET. My favorite sweet perfume is Musk by Kayali, which feels lush, bougie, musky/powdery. Vanilla by Kayali is one of my go-to fragrences for layering, if you like vanilla scents you need it in your collection. Both of these Kayali fragrences come in multiple sizes.

Love Don’t Be Shy by Killian is another popular sweet fragrance, it’s on the more expensive side (check out the $50 travel-size version here) and it reminds me of an elevated version of Pink Sugar by Aquolina. Last but not least, NDA by Forvr Mood is another great scent to try if it’s in stock.

My Sephora Collection Must HaveS

I’ve tried a few things from the Sephora collection, and some of my favorite products are the eyeliners and the liquid lipstick. I like using their waterproof eyeshadow and eyeliner multi-stick in my waterline (specifically the shade Stone Matte) or to line my lower lash line. I also like to use their 12-hour contour pencil eyeliner in Tiramasu (dark brown) on my lower lash line. Both of these eyeliners are long-lasting, which is why I reach for them regularly.

The cream stain liquid lipstick is great too, and it comes in a bunch of different shades.
