Amazon Prime Day starts tomorrow October 13th, and continues through October 14th. To help you get your shopping list ready, I thought I’d give you guys a quick rundown on 5 of my favorite things that I’ve purchased on Amazon.
In no particular order, here we go:
1) Hair Steamer
As a natural girl (4C sisters where you at?!), using a hair steamer when I deep condition my hair has been am amazing way to help my hair get the moisture it needs. I used to see the hair steamers when I went to the Dominican hair salon a couple of times in my relaxed days, but getting the steam treatment was expensive.
Once I discovered I could get a hair steamer from Amazon for like $70, it became the gift that keeps on giving. You need one too. TUHDAY (or during Prime Day rather).
2) Makeup Brush Storage Box
I like to find pretty ways to store and display my beauty products on my vanity, and I recently purchased this clear makeup storage box with the lid on Amazon. I got the option with pink pearls, and I love how it looks on my vanity. I was able to store almost all of my makeup brushes in it (which is a lot!), so it was definitely a good buy. I love that it has a lid, so that my brushes stay protected from dust and whatnot.
3) Digital Timer Remote
As a fashion blogger, this has been a game-changer for me. It’s a remote that I can plug into my DSLR to shoot my photos solo, without having to hold anything. I set it for how many pictures I want it to take, how much time I need between each photo, and get started. If you’re a content creator that uses a DSLR, you NEED THIS.

4) Bonnet Attachment for Hair Dryer
I love to rollerset my wigs, to get bouncy curls, and give my hair lots of volume. What I don’t love, is waiting for my rollersets to air dry, and I don’t have the room or space to store a hard hat hair dryer that you sit under. I recently purchased this soft bonnet attachment for my blowdryer, so I can use it to dry my wig the next time I do a rollerset.
5) A Hot Comb
Gone are the days of heating it up on the stove, and hearing the sizzle of the grease as it rolled towards your scalp. Ouch. Did that give you flashbacks? Because it gave me flashbacks. I purchased my trusty hot comb on Amazon, as it’s essential to help me lay my wigs to get them them to lay flat when I apply them. No grease necessary.
So there you have it guys, 5 of my favorite things that I’ve purchased on Amazon.
