We’ve got 17 Days until Christmas, which means it’s time to get those holiday outfits together sis.
The way that we celebrate the holidays is certainly going to look different this year, but we can still look fabulous. Whether it’s going to be a Zoom Holiday Party or some family time at home, you can still sleigh this Christmas.
Get Ready To Sleigh in these Holiday Outfits
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is getting all glammed up in a fabulous holiday outfit. Also, if you have a birthday coming up, now is the time to buy a super extra birthday outfit. Some of my favorite things to incorporate into a fabulously festive holiday outfit are sequins, fur, satin, and Christmas plaid.
Sequins
For Christmas, you have permission to be full-on extra. I always want to look and feel fabulous, but I like to step it up a notch during the holidays. One of the easiest ways to put together a fabulous and festive holiday outfit is to add some sequins. My favorite options include a sequin suit (like this super pretty option from BooHoo) or a sequined dress in a traditional metallic color or jewel tone.
Fur
Faux Fur is one of my all-time favorite things. I have a fur coat in just about every color. It’s the perfect way to add a bougie touch to any outfit. Whether you decide to go with fur jacket or vest in a traditional color to top off your outfit
Or a fur in a bolder color, to make things a little more fun and festive.
Tartan & Tweed: Holiday Outfit Magic
There’s just something about the right red tartan plaid, that screams Christmas. It makes me feel like I’m wrapped up like the gift that I am (did you do your positive affirmations today sis? Because I surely did haha).
I love a good Christmas plaid, and combining that with a cute tweed piece can serve up one classy and fabulous holiday look. Try a cute tweed short suit with heels, and a black turtleneck. Or a fun Christmas plaid skirt or dress, with a black fur vest and boots.
Satin
Adding a satin piece to your holiday outfit is an easy way to elevate your look. You can go with a satin wrap dress, or a cute satin top with leather pants (or your favorite jeans and a fur if you’re going for a casual & fabulous look).
You can’t forget the perfect shoes to finish off your look. The bow heels with the crystals from Public Desire have quickly become one of my favorite picks for the Holidays.
Shoes
Also, the right accessories can really help bring it all together. I recently bought this rhinestone crystal headband from Amazon ($11!), and I can’t wait to wear it this holiday season.
Accessories
The most important thing to remember when putting together your holiday outfits is to have fun, be festive, and wear something that makes you feel fabulous. That’s the secret to looking fa-la-la-la-fabulous. I love the idea of taking traditional holiday and Christmas colors and wearing them in fabrics, textures, and pieces that feel luxurious.
