When I saw this plaid skirt ($12 at SheIn!), I immediately had to have it. Plaid is a pattern that is always on trend for fall, and I loved the color blocking on this skirt. I decided to try styling it two ways.
First, I styled it with this Sanrio T-Shirt I found for $13 in the men’s section in Target (I got a size small). The colors of the graphic T are similar to those in the skirt, which is what pulls the look together. I kept everything else simple and decided to use yellow as my pop of color. I love these yellow Steve Madden boots I recently copped, and I will be wearing them EVERY CHANCE I GET. The leather jacket and chain necklace give make this outfit feel extra fly. It’s all about the details.
Next, I decided to try a classy look. I styled the skirt with my trusty black turtleneck from H&M, and this chain belt I’ve had for ages from ASOS (similar one here for $4.50). This time, I used red as my pop of color and highlighted that with the under brim of my Fedora. All the fedora’s that I currently own are from cutely covered, because they are big head (and wig head) friendly.
