I saved $126 when I ordered two of the Marc Jacobs tote bags from Neiman Marcus. They’d been on my wishlist for a hot minute, and I decided to buy them as I want to use the large traveler bag for grad school this fall. It’s a stylish and sturdy everyday tote. The mini tote bag from the Year of The Tiger collection also caught my eye while in Hawaii. Unfortunately, I didn’t get it at the time (as I was on a mission to get my YSL monogram clutches, lol), however, when I saw that it was still available, I decided to grab it too.
Marc Jacobs Large Traveler Tote Bag
I’ve seen all the gworls carrying the large Marc Jacobs tote bags, and now I know why. It feels very durable, and it’s a great catch-all bag if you’re a material girl on the go. Additionally, there is a flap with a zipper inside, where you can stash things like your wallet or cards.
I will say that this bag has a decent weight even when empty. So if you’re planning to carry a lot in there, be aware that it will get heavy fast. The bag has a zipper closure up top, which is great because I don’t want anything falling out or anybody reaching in.
What Fits Inside
Your whole life. I can comfortably fit my 13″ Macbook Pro, a purse organizer with my essentials, and a couple of books for school in this bag.
Marc Jacobs Mini Year of The Tiger Tote Bag
The mini tote bag from the Year of The Tiger collection is a cute tiger print canvas tote bag. This tote has a splash of orange on the front and gold embroidery for the logo. It comes with a removable black faux fur purse strap and a leather panel on the bottom of the bag. It has a zipper closure up top. This mini tote bag is also currently available on FarFetch.
I love that the purse strap is removable. Switching up the purse straps is a great way to change up the look of the bag. I ordered a gold chain purse strap on Etsy to play up the gold embroidery on the front.
The mini tote bags come in a bunch of colors and patterns, but this tiger print feels unique. I haven’t seen many people with this pattern. Also, it will be easy to style with my summer and fall outfits, as orange is a huge trend.
What Fits Inside
Chile, don’t let the name mini fool you! I can fit a pretty good amount of stuff in this bag. My iPad Air 5 (in its keyboard case) fits inside, and I still have plenty of room for my essentials.
How I Saved $126 On the Marc Jacobs Tote Bags
I used two things to help me save $126 when I bought my two Marc Jacobs tote bags. First off, Neiman Marcus had a coupon for 15% off your first purchase when you signed up for their email list. This was my first time shopping with them, so I signed up and used the coupon, which saved me $81. This was clutch as the coupons/deals I saw at other luxury retailers excluded Marc Jacobs items.
Secondly, I used Rakuten to get cashback on my purchase. When I bought my bags, they were offering 10% cash back on purchases at Neiman Marcus, which earned me $45.91 cashback. It’s lit.

My TikTok bougie besties let me know there’s also a student discount available for Marc Jacobs. It looks like it’s currently 10% off when you sign up through Student Beans.
The perfect organizer for the tote bags
I ordered a purse organizer for the large traveler tote bag on Amazon for $26. I got it because inside the tote bags is just a lot of open space. With the organizer, I have dedicated areas to put my things, which is handy for grad school.
The organizer comes in a bunch of different sizes and colors. I got the hot pink color in size slender large, which takes up roughly half the inside of the bag. This way, I still have lots of room for my laptop and books for school.
