My Afronation Miami Festival Outfits

I was in Miami in May for Afronation (I got to see all my faves from Burna Boy to Fireboy DML), and I attended both days of the festival (vlog soon come!). When it came time to plan my outfits, I wanted cute bad and bougie festival looks. I wanted outfits that were fun, colorful, festival oriented but still very much giving FASHION. Also, I knew it was going to be really hot in Miami and the festival was outside. So anything I wore needed to keep me cool but looking hot. Here’s what I wore for both days of the festival!

Festival Day One Outfit

For day one of the festival, I wore this floral mesh set from Akira. It’s now sold out, but it features a long sleeve nude mesh top with flowers and matching denim shorts. This outfit was a hit. I loved how fun and colorful it was, and the top was sexy but in a sexy boho kind of way.

There was a clear bag (unless you had a small enough regular purse) policy, so I wore this one from Forever 21 and my trusty white air force ones. I layered gold necklaces to elevate my look. By the night’s end, I added a scarf because my new wig adhesive played me ROFL. If you follow me on TikTok, you already know the tea.

Festival Day Two Outfit

For day two of the festival, I got some outfit inspo from Pinterest and styled this “Legend” mixed print top (I also found it on AliExpress for $9. I ordered from an IG boutique, however that link no longer works.) with the denim feathered shorts I made (check out the tutorial here). I added my designer vibe scarf and rainbow hair tinsel to lean into my bad and bougie festival vibe. I kept the same clear purse and white sneakers to finish the look and layered on bracelets to finish my look.
