NYC Outfits: Rhinestone Denim on Denim Going Out Outfit
When I wore this rhinestone denim on denim outfit out to dinner in New York City, I got so many compliments. It’s the perfect matching set for a “oh, I just threw this on” look, and the rhinestones really elevate this casual denim outfit. This makes it a great going out outfit, concert outfit, or elevated casual date night outfit. Here’s how I styled it!
Denim on Denim Outfit Details
I got the rhinestone halter top in a size small, and it fits true to size. The wide leg jeans run a little small, so I sized up to a medium (I could barely get into the small. For reference, I’m a US size 4).
There’s also a matching skort that coordinates with these pieces, but it looks like it may be way too short for me (I’m 5’9″).
Since it was chilly out, I wore a faux fur trim cropped leather jacket that Pretty Little Thing gifted me years ago with this look (which you can see my TikTok below).
Put Me in Chanel?
I got this gold oversized quilted shoulder bag from Fashion Nova, and it’s definitely giving Chanel-inspired. The purse is huge, with enough space to fit all my essentials and then some. It’s a great-quality bag, too; it also comes in black.
Btw, wig install details: I’m wearing this 30″ 6×5 closure body wave wig by Tinashe Hair.
For accessories, I stuck to gold shoes and jewelry, to play up the gold rhinestones and golden wash of the denim. These gold platform sandals by Jessica Simpson Collection (via Macy’s) are in heavy rotation in my closet.
