I recently attended the Boston stop of Burna Boy’s No Sign of Weakness Tour, and you know what that means: it was time to put together a cute concert outfit. Originally, I ordered a couple of things online, but I didn’t love how they looked on. So, I wound up shopping my closet and styling some pieces I had previously purchased at Akira.
I wanted a look that felt sexy, feminine, and edgy (in a rockstar kinda way). I feel like I nailed it!
This deep V rhinestone denim corset top (size medium) is a very sexy statement piece. To keep my girls secured in place, I wore sticky bra inserts under the top. Check out a similar denim rhinestone top here at Akira (it’s not low cut though).
I styled the denim corset with a denim and plaid distressed skirt. Again, I got this a while back at Akira, but there is a similar version here on Amazon. Since the plaid sections on the skirt are asymmetrical (and aren’t sewn together for coverage), I’d recommend wearing shorts underneath. I opted to wear the fleece-lined leggings I got on TikTok shop, so I didn’t get cold.
For pictures, I went with knee-high denim and rhinestone boots (by Azalea Wang via Akira), but I wore my white air force one’s to the concert.
Why This Look Works
Since the denim is a light grey-ish blue, and the top is heavily embellished with rhinestones, sticking with cool-toned accessories helps tie the look together. So I finished off the look with silver jewelry, a brown belt, and a silver purse.
