Pink Leopard and Star Airbrush Gel Nails Tutorial Fly Fierce Fab

When I saw this pink and leopard print nail set with the stars on Pinterest, I knew I had to recreate it. I’ve seen it there and on Instagram so many times from different people, so I’m not sure who did it first (to credit them). However, I do know how to recreate it. The Nails I Used

I used the Aprés Long Almond GelX nails to make my press on nails. This brand is my favorite for this length and shape; they truly got it right. I get mine here on Amazon.

Since these are plain nails, it is important to prep them for polish. I do this by applying one coat of Beetles base gel and curing it under my DND rechargeable nail lamp.

Pink Base Color

I needed a good sheer pinky base color for this nail set. So, I used one from this set of jelly gel polishes by GAOY on Amazon. As it’s sheer, I did two coats.

How To Do Pink French Tips

To get the shade of pink juuust right for my french tips, I mixed together two gel polishes from a set by Beetles Gel Polish. It’s no longer available, but this set looks pretty similar. I also mixed these same two shades later on to do the pink star nail art. Additionally, I used brushes from this nail liner brush set on SheIn to do all my nail art. For the french tips, I used the longest brush (which makes it so much easier!). I did two coats of polish, and cured each one under my nail lamp.

How To Do Airbrush Nails with Gel Polish

Remember back in the day when airbrush nails were a HUGE thing? Yeah, me too. Now you can do it yourself at home with this airbrush kit and airbrush gel nail polishes by Saviland. I used the white shade from the set to airbrush the center and top of all the nails with french tips.

It’s important to note that these are specifically made for airbrushing your nails, so they are ready to use right out of the bottle. You should not use regular gel polish to airbrush your nails (by trying to thin it out, etc.) as it is not formulated for that, and is not safe. Ok, PSA over lol.

Tips for Success

For best results, I recommend holding the nail you’re working on with the tip facing down, and not holding the airbrush too close. The airbrush gel polish went on really well, and cured beautifully. I did two coats (curing each one under my nail lamp) before adding the leopard print.

Easy Leopard Print Nail Art

Leopard print nail art is surprisingly easy to do, and it’s one of my go to’s when I want to do something quick and easy. For this nail set, I used the chocolate brown shade (on a dotting tool) from this set of nude gel polishes by Beetles. I also used their black gel polish as well.

Pink Nail Foils

Do y’all do accent nails when you do your nails? Because chile, I love a good accent nail. Every time I’ve seen this set online, all the nails looked the same. I decided to switch it up by using these pink designer-inspired nail foils I got from Tiger Nail Supply. Whenever I use nail foils, I always apply them using this Nail Art Foil Glue by Beetles.

The GOAT Top Coat

To finish off my nails, I applied a coat of my fave topcoat by Gaoy. It makes my nails super shiny and never peels, etc.

How I Make My Press On Nails Last Two Weeks

Do you have trouble getting your press on nails to stay pressed on? It’s probably you’re nail prep routine sis.
