Sephora’s Welcome Back Sale kicked off last week and continues until August 23rd online and in stores. All Beauty Insider Members (which is free to join!) will receive $15 off a $75 or more purchase, or $20 off $100 or more when they use the code WELCOMEBACK. I also want to remind you guys that Sephora has been offering 10% off of all purchases for healthcare workers, but I’m not sure if this is combinable with the welcome back sale or how long that will continue.
I love a good Sephora sale, and it’s a great time to re-stock your staple products or even try something new. Here are my picks from the Sephora sale for makeup, beauty, and fragrance (including the perfume that Rihanna wears):
Makeup
Fenty Beauty
First of all, all Fenty everything. The Pro Filt’R Foundation, Pro Filt’R Setting Powder, Sun Stalk’R Bronzer, are all a part of my staple products. I also love the Stunna Lip Paint in Unbutton, it’s one of my go-to nude matte lipsticks (which is super long-lasting, and won’t transfer. I tested it). And sis, the Fenty Gloss Bombs? *chefs kiss*
Staples & Stuff I Wanna Try
Auntie Pat McGrath has been dropping fire looking palettes, and I’m super curious about trying one along with her foundation and loose powder. Too Faced’s Damn Girl! Mascara is my all-time fave (and yes, it’s Better Than Sex. You see what I did there? because their other mascara is called…), along with their Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer which is the most full coverage concealer I’ve ever tried. If I can ever find my right shade in their new matte Born This Way Foundation, that just might be a hit too.
Skincare
Getting my skincare game on point has been really important to me over the past year, and I’m really glad that I’ve found some great staple products like the Skinfix Foaming Oil Cleanser that I reviewed here on my blog. It’s amazing for gently cleansing my skin without leaving it feeling stripped. I’ve also really been loving the Tatcha Sheet Masks as a weekly treat for my skin.
The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is actually something that I use during my makeup routine, to help melt down my face powders and look super beat (Kiki Adams on YouTube put me on). Bite Beauty’s Agave Lip Mask is another staple for me, as it’s the only thing that can revive my lips when they get dry and cracked when the weather changes. Last but not least for my skincare picks, I’ve been super curious about Patrick Starrr’s One/Size makeup line at Sephora, so I just might have to check out the makeup removal products.
Fragrance
I talked about my love of Tom Ford’s Velvet Orchid and YSL Black Opium in this post on my favorite grown and sexy perfumes. Next on my list of perfumes to try is Kilian’s Love Don’t Be Shy, which is also worn by the bad gal herself Rihanna (S/O to Jackie Aina for putting us on!). It’s super expensive for a bottle though, so I may pick up the trial size for $46.
So there we have it guys, my picks for the Sephora Welcome Back Sale. Are you planning to shop the Sephora sale? What’s on your list? Let me know in the comments!
Stylishly Yours,
Theresa Seyi
