With Valentine’s Day around the corner, love is most certainly in the air. So is my signature scent (Musk by Kayali, IYKYK). I love gourmand perfumes (scents that smell edible), and over the past year I discovered some that smell bomb.
Previously, I shared a few of my favorites and I’ve added a couple more to my collection since then. I figured I’d spill the tea in a YouTube video so that I could talk more about each fragrance. Did I mention that I tried a dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540? Thank’s Ari!
Also, if you’re looking for some Valentine’s Day gift ideas, you could include a mini perfume in a gift basket. Kayali now makes mini versions of their perfumes (Retail: $25, Sephora), and it’s the best thing that happened to my perfume collection this year. I bought a mini of Vanilla, to keep in my work bag. Vanilla is said to be a scent that most men find to be attractive, and it’s also said to reduce stress levels.
There’s Levels To Sweet Perfumes
I also have a couple of perfumes in my collection, that just have hints of sweetness. Burberry Her Blossom is described as a fruity floral, and Tom Ford Velvet Orchid is a strong floral with a hint of sweetness. It’s nice to be able to have a variation in your collection, but I’m more of a sugary sweet perfume person. Pink Sugar by Aquolina is right up my alley, and it can be found for the low at Marshalls, TJMaxx, and Groupon.

You’re welcome.
