One of my fave trends for the fall is leather pants (or faux leather pants, if you prefer). The thing is when you’re a big booty Judy, it’s hard to find leather pants that fit well, accentuate your shape, and don’t gape at the waist. The key is finding a pair that’s well-tailored, especially if the material doesn’t have any stretch / give. A traditional leather pant (or faux leather pant) won’t have any stretch or give, whereas a leather-look pant (usually super stretchy) will.
I was pleasantly surprised when I found this pair of brown leather pants online at Zara for under $50, and I was happy that they fit well while accentuating my shape. I’ve really been loving neutrals and cognac/camel tones for fall, so these leather pants were right up my alley.
I decided to go for a monochromatic look, as picking one color to rock from head to toe is an easy way to elevate your look. Bonus points if you pick a neutral tone, to serve an outfit that looks expensive without breaking the bank. Monotonal looks have been a fall fashion trend as well, where you pick a specific color and wear different tones instead of the same shade head to toe.
Leather Pants + A Sexy Top + Heels = The Cheat Code
I love leather pants because they’re a super versatile and easy way to elevate any look. You can pair them with a blazer and nice blouse for a slightly edgy business look, with a cute chunky sweater for a cozy but sexy fall look, or with a cropped top/sweater like I did if you really want to turn up the heat. You could also rock them with a graphic-t for a casual look, that’s a little edgy and sexy as well. My point is, the options are endless.
