I promised myself that when I achieved a few of my goals, I was going to treat myself to the Louis Vuitton 26 Monogram Toiletry Pouch. Well, baby that day has finally come, and I’m so excited about my first luxury purchase. This pouch has been on my wishlist forever, and it’s really tough to get your hands on.
Why This Is A Great Starter Piece For Me
I’m just starting to dip my toe into the black women in luxury lifestyle, so I’m starting off slow. I’m also trying to be financially responsible as I go along. S/O to the digit app for always helping me save up for my splurges. I decided on the Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch as my first luxury purchase, as it’s a more affordable item (Retail $580). I love the monogram print, and I’ve also seen all the fashion girls carry it as a clutch to elevate their looks. That’s really the formula for a lot of these bougie on a budget looks. Mixing high and low-end pieces, by styling fast fashion with luxury accessories.
The toiletry pouch had been sold out for months, and one day I randomly went on the website (just to look again, LOL), and it was available. I had previously signed up for in-stock email alerts multiple times, but that didn’t seem to do any good. It seems like the best thing to do is to just check back on the site every so often.

For my first outfit featuring my new Louis, I decided to wear this pale yellow blazer dress from Zara. I’m thinking about having it taken in at the waist, but it’s a really pretty piece for Spring. Also, yellow is going to be a huge trend this spring. I’ll be styling this pouch with countless other outfits, and using it as an accent piece to elevate all my looks.
Life Update
As y’all may have noticed, I haven’t been able to post as frequently as I used to. I needed to take some time for family, as a few days before Christmas, my mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Thankfully she is doing really well; she’s had surgery and started chemo. I believe that family comes first, and I needed to take time to make sure that she’s ok and then get myself together (Jesus & therapy chile). I’m working on getting back into a schedule for creating, and I want to thank y’all for riding with me while I take care of home. I’m back and working on creating a schedule that works for this season.
Stylishly Yours,
Theresa Seyi
