Cat Eye Gel Nails Made Easy! Trying New BTArtBox Almond Nails
My friends at BTArtBox gifted me some nails from their new Cat Eye nail collection to review for y’all. All thoughts and opinions are my own. One thing I love about the X Coat Tips from BTArtBox is that they are very beginner-friendly. No matter what shape, length, or design you want they have something you can easily use as a starting point. So these new almond-shaped nails that just dropped on Amazon are an easy way to try cat eye nails at home, since they come with the design already done. I’m trying the nails in the almond shape with a medium length, and other shapes and lengths are available too. Check out my TikTok below to see how I did my nails!

Are They Worth The Price?
These new BTArtBox nails retail for $36.99 on Amazon, and the set comes with enough nails to do five manicures. This is a great deal, since you can’t get one cat eye nail set done at the salon for that price, let alone five. The set comes with 150 nails, and you get 15 different sizes.
Typically cat eye nails are done with a special gel polish and magnet. BTArtBox already did the work for us by creating the design. So, all we have to do is go over it with polish to harden the nails and help protect the design.
How Do They Fit?
Firstly, I’m happy these medium-length nails are long and wide enough to cover my nails perfectly. It’s hard for me to find almond-shaped nails that cover my entire nail bed. Usually, they don’t cover my entire nail, so a little bit is left peaking out on the sides. Now that I know that the medium-length almond-shaped nails from BTArtBox fit me, a whole new world of possibilities is unlocked.
How I Applied These Cat Eye Nails
After finding my sizes, I prepped the nails by applying one coat of builder gel and one coat of top coat. I cured each coat for 60 seconds under my nail lamp. After that I applied the nails using my trusty Beauty Secrets Drip and Clog Proof Nail Glue from Sally Beauty.
